Fatemeh Jafari Farshami, MD

Dr. Farshami is board certified in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. She graduated from Guilan University of Medical Sciences where she received her medical degree in 2010. She attended the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque for her Internal Medicine Residency and Rheumatology Fellowship. She has been practicing in Maryland since 2020. She diagnoses and treats the whole spectrum of rheumatic conditions. Her areas of interest are arthrocentesis, joint and soft tissue injections, gout, rheumatoid arthritis, inflammatory myopathies, and vasculitis. She is fluent in English and Farsi and has taken care of a diverse patient population during her years of training and practice. She recognizes the unique challenges that each individual patient might be facing in the health care system, and she strives to do her best in helping them receive the best and most effective treatments.
